Môreson

Franschhoek

The small boutique wine estate of Môreson is located at the end of the appropriately named Happy Valley Road in Franschhoek and is a farm steeped in passion. The estate produces a number of award winning wines, including those under the “Miss Molly’ label (named after their much loved Weimaraner) a percentage of whose proceeds are donated to the South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind and Animals in Distress. Visitors can sample the Miss Molly wines, as well as all those in the Môreson range, in a casual environment at the Farm Grocer bar counter – under the friendly guidance and expertise of the wine tasting team.

The ever popular Bread & Wine Vineyard Restaurant serves rustic, honest food under the watchful eye of Neil Jewell, the resident Charcuterie. If you fall in love with any of the preserves, freshly baked breads or cured meats, you can stock up at The Farm Grocer shop before you leave. If you plan to linger a little longer, you may even be able to sign up for one of their Bread Making, Wine Making or Charcuterie courses.

Recently making the estate their home, The Exotic Plant Company offers beautiful fresh cut flowers to take home, as well as their wide selection of spectacular Orchids.

The estate is open Monday – Sunday from 09h30 – 17h00. Bread & Wine Vineyard Restaurant open for lunch from 12h00 – 15h00 daily. For further details, please visit www.moreson.co.za, or telephone +27 21 876 3055. Lunch reservations recommended.
